Agility Team

Here at Isilme the dogs enjoy the thrills and fun of agility. Due to breeding and showing the dogs have been on a bit of a break from agility, but we have high hopes for a fun packed year in 2020 where along with my judging i will also be competing and chasing novice titles and qualifiers.

So in training at the moment we have

  • Wish she will be entering at Grade 3 as she was entered in to KC shows before the rule change and will be running over the new 4th hight aka standard measuring 464mm for the UKA measure.

  • Spud will be coming out in to Grade 2 and is obviously large (no measure needed with KC) he will start off in anysize over the winter and a few jumpings by the spring with hopes to be doing full equipment by the summer. he is a very big boy so his training has been held off until he was much older allowing for his body to develop properly

  • Fluffy will unfortunately not be competing or training due to an old injury but if she comes back good i may let her run a few anysize/fun classes. she just loves to train and compete but her well being comes first.

  • Spike aka Crazy eyes, she will start in Grade 2 in small, well if i can get her out of bed then i'm hoping over the winter her training will have progressed, she has a fantastic sit stay something her mother never has! but a bit of a zoomie monster which i should stop and be sensible but i find it too funny so for now she is being trained badly and gives me endless joy with her fun ways

  • Bob humm?? undecided will see she now is much happier to be out round the rings but is still always looking for someone that might get her. she loves training so we just enjoy some time at home play the agility game.

  • Ebee who know probably never but like bob she shows and enjoys playing at home a bit.

  • Mani moo moo, my daughter has been soo busy with her ponies that the dogs have taken a back seat, she has done most of manis training. i was finding the amount of dogs at the same level hard work so he was just a happy active pet since retiring from the show would in which he had many wins. so he is now being trained and handled by my good friend Tina he runs over medium lower height as only just medium but has found full height med too much im hoping he will enjoy the new height but is a pig for food and finding it so weight is always an issue with him!! but watching him enjoy running and his new partnership is very rewarding.

Other Isilme dogs In agility to look out for.

  • Isilme Sir Timlington, Fluffy x Deno (first litter) Klein Spitz in Small he is a lovely sable colour and much loved.

  • Isilme Strider, Fluffy x Deno (First litter) Klein Spitz, in Medium and is the same lovely sable colouring but maybe a bit lighter then his siblings, he will hopefully be out next year but has had a few blips and needed some time but is now going great guns in training and much loved.

  • Isilme My Little Shadow, Fluffy x Deno (second litter) she might be out next year we will see her family are just enjoying having a spitz again after the sad loss of Isilme all that razzle. she is a stunning sable and a slight improvement on her mum but very alike (the one i should have kept!) she is very much loved.

  • Tweed, Bear, poppy and oggy all from the ouphs litter Bear is a black dog doing very well with his loving home winning many titles this year and a real credit to his owner, Tweed has been excelling in rally and i got to see him for the first time since 9 weeks at crufts this year, poppy black and tan has had some mountains to climb and her loving owner has been very unwell but has now been out doing some fun classes and last but not least Oggy black and tan measured large so not been doing a great deal in the way of competing but is much loved by his family and really is his fathers son.

  • Reggie, flame, trevor, sky, dave and mocha, wish x Buddy litter all been brought on slowly and carefully by their owners and some have already been out doing anysize/fun classes so next year there should almost be a full litter out running and enjoying the trials of agility very excited for them all. hopefully lots of cock tails for the cocktail litter, all shaken not Stirred.

  • extra note Flame, Sky and Mocha are with Young handlers one not even in her teens yet and have proved to be fantastic and trainable, love watching children enjoying working with dogs and building a team, massive good luck to them all.
